(ALS Clinical, Assessment, Research, and Education) Program is a national database, which has been established as a resource tool for people with ALS, and those who treat ALS patients. A large amount of information dealing with diagnosis, treatment, and the care of people with ALS is placed into the database. This information is overseen by a group of neurologists, and the database is used as a tool to assess the care and treatment ALS patients are receiving, and provide guidelines for improving this treatment for future generations.
